| Welcome to ASA - Your Path to Asia |
|
As with today, a new semester has started at the University of St. Gallen with lots of interesting thoughts to encouter and valuable insights to gain. These, however, will not be restricted to your core studies. There is much more out there and you should take your chance to experience wonderful moments and finding new friends by becoming a member of the club of your interest. The Asian Students Association (ASA) builds the bridge between Europe and Asia and therefore addresses itself to all students interested in Asian countries and their culture. We provide a platform for students from diverse cultures with a common interest in Asia and a cross-cultural exchange to improve our understanding of an important part of the world as well as establishing new bonds on a more personal basis. Our activities include exchange programs with leading universites in Japan and China, workshops, guest lectures, an annual Joint Forum and access to a network of companies, professors and students in touch with Asia. We are looking forward to getting to know you and are curious about your opinions and knowledge about various subjects. Those with ideas and initiatives are welcome to contact the board members to learn more about the respective opportunities. For more information, please visit us at the official club presentation this Wednesday at the library building or simply write us an email. ASA wishes you all the best for the coming weeks and hopes to get the chance to welcome you as a member of the club and participant in one of our activities. |
